Founder’s Story

Founder Errin Gay built Unique Strategies Consulting from a decade of experience spanning every level of politics — from the halls of Capitol Hill to the grassroots energy of local campaigns. As a former D.C. political consultant, Capitol Hill staffer, and Executive Director of a Democratic county party, Errin saw firsthand how disconnected strategy can become from the people it’s meant to serve.

In D.C., data and metrics often took center stage — but real voter insight came from the ground. At the local level, county parties rarely had the resources to execute the outreach their communities truly needed. That gap inspired the creation of Unique Strategies Consulting: a firm built to bridge the distance between national strategy and local impact.

We bring together the on-the-ground experience, corporate political insight, and institutional knowledge from the inner workings of the Hill to create strategies that are practical, authentic, and people-centered.
